What’s it about? UnSouled is the third book in the UnWind dystology. This fascinating series is set in a world where abortion is illegal, but unruly teens can be ‘unwound’ and taken for parts. This disturbing, but very human book follows our hero Conner and our surprisingly empathetic anti-hero Cam as they struggle to find answers to what started it all. Without giving away any spoilers, this is a surprisingly satisfying book for being a third in a series of four.

Should you read it? If you love controversial topics, heart-wrenching drama and fast-paced action, I highly recommend the series. Read my review on the first book, UnWind. Shusterman is a master of taking our noses and shoving it in the darkest places – but in a good way. I swear! You’ll love it. I know I do!
