What’s it about? Cress is the third installment in the Lunar Chronicles. Following the adventures of Cinder, Scarlet and now Cress, readers will follow the young women (and their hunky sidekicks) as they battle to defeat evil Queen Levana. I don’t want to spoil it for other readers, so to learn more about the first books, check out my reviews on Cinder and Scarlet.

Should you read it? Yes. This is a great book for younger teens (and adults – duh). Fast paced storlines and new and exciting characters keeps the series fresh. There isn’t a lot of gore or sex, so I recommend this to readers who try to avoid that 😉 But a fun series overall! I like to see how Ms. Meyer weaves in old fairy tales into her futuristic landscape. It’s very clever and entertaining.
