What’s it about? The Kill Order is the prequel to the fantastic Maze Runner series. That being said, do not read the Kill Order unless you’ve read the Maze Runner series. You will be sorely disappointed! The main point of the Maze Runner is that the characters are trying to figure out why they are trapped in a maze, and this book describes what happened before the maze and why. So don’t read out of order!

Just like the Maze Runner, this book will have your stomach in knots. If you like zombie movies where you’re scared to death of what’s going to jump out at you, this is the book for you. I especially recommend this to male readers, no matter their age. The excitement in this book would appeal to those guys who say they don’t like to read “‘cuz it’s boring.”

If you knew and loved the Maze Runner, you will love this book. Buy it from Barnes and Noble and you’ll even get an extra chapter at the end that, in my opinion, really makes the book. If it hadn’t been in the book, I would have been disappointed and a little confused.

Should you read it? Yes! If you love action movies, or the Hunger Games, or fast-paced zombie stuff, you’ll love this book. Awesome work, Mr. Dashner. I’m impressed!
