I don’t usually review Middle Grade or Adult fiction on this blog, but I just had to do this one. I was thinking back to books I had loved as a kid, and Wait Till Helen Comes was one of my favorites. A completely spooky ghost story set in the countryside outside Baltimore, this book will freak out elementary kids without terrifying them. I just re-read it, and it’s as good as I remember.
